God's Prosperity Plan

God has a plan to prosper you. He is very clear in His Word, but unfortunately most Christians aren’t even aware that this plan exists or they are so bound up in error that they don’t believe God really wants them to prosper. In this chapter, you will learn the basics of God’s plan. These will then be expanded in the following chapters.
According to the Federal Reserve Board, 54% of total wealth in the U.S. is held by 2% of the families and the top 10% of families hold 86% of the wealth. Most of these families are not Christians and have obtained their wealth using the world’s plan. The people of the world are wiser in the ways of prosperity than Christians are. They have listened to devil better than Christians have listened to God. Jesus said that the world is wiser in the ways of business than the believers are (Luke 16:8). This must change, so that the world can see the immense benefits of following Jesus.
When Jesus walked the earth, he attracted crowds of people through miraculous signs and wonders. He wants to do that again, with regard to your financial situation. Imagine how your friends and family would respond, if in a short period of time you were completely debt free, financially independent, and spending most of your time doing the work of the Lord? If they saw you stress free and joyous all the time, don’t you think they would want to know more? That would open up many opportunities for witnessing to the people in your world. That is what God wants. He wants His children to be the most prosperous on the planet. He did that for David and Solomon and He wants to do the same for you.
Yes, God wants to prosper you, but He’s not going to do it until you are ready to receive the fullness of His prosperity. He isn’t holding back because He doesn’t want to bless you, but rather to protect you. If He dumped His blessings upon you and you weren’t ready, the devil could use them to deceive you and send you down a very destructive path. I’m sure you’ve seen examples of this – the multi-million dollar lottery winner, who a year later is divorced and in bankruptcy court. God loves you and wants you to enjoy His prosperity, not find it to be a burden that tears your life apart. So, there is some preparation that must be done, in order to put you into a receiving mode. In the following pages you will learn the qualifications for receiving God’s prosperity into your life. If you accomplish these things, you will place yourself into position to receive the blessings of God.
Satan has spent thousands of years setting financial traps for people. He particularly loves to trap Christians and place them into financial bondage. He has used the spirit of mammon to get people focused on money, instead of on God. Then, as the devil finds people who are fully in his camp, he helps them become reservoirs for his money and he blesses them abundantly. He knows that if he pours it on them, they will go out and purchase mansions, luxury cars, flashy jewelry, alcohol, drugs, and take exotic trips. This, of course, will attract other people who want all the same stuff. For most, Satan uses the lure of credit and high interest to completely bind people financially. Then there are the really unfortunate few, whom he totally destroys through gambling. Satan is the great deceiver and he is actively trying to destroy your life through your finances.
